The waste module allows you to keep track of the waste streams from a central location. The basis of the administration is the registration of waste packaging. You keep track of the amount of waste packaging, its contents, location and possible relocations. The data from these records can be used directly to comply with your administrative obligations vis-a-vis the province under the "Provincial environmental regulation ". For the transport of the waste packaging, you can also print the necessary documents with SOFOS 360®. It is also possible to enter the invoices of the waste processors in order to obtain an overview of the various waste streams.

Within the waste module, the waste is kept in 'waste packages. Each waste package is given a unique number, so you can easily follow a waste package on its way through your organization.
Waste packages are entering the organization empty, are filled and then returned to the waste treatment party. In order to receive, issue, fill and send waste packages, a number of issues must be settled first (once), namely:

• You define which types of waste packages you use.
• You determine which companies you are doing business with and what role (processors, operators, shippers) these companies play in the waste module.
• You then define the substances that make up the waste and give them a euralcode.
• You can indicate in which waste packages the substance may be included.
• You can still indicate the price per kilogram and at which waste stream number the substance is taken by a certain processing agent.
• You can still indicate at which price per kilogram for which waste stream number a particular waste is to be included.
• You specify a default location (space) for the empty and a standard location for the full waste packages

The waste module makes it easy for you to see what happens to the waste within your Organization. With this module you can do the following activities/answer questions

• Which types of waste are produced on an annual basis by the various departments?
• With which processors do we do business for a particular waste product?
• Which (legally defined) types of waste are in the Organization, where and in what quantities?
• Receive and issue empty waste packages.
• Take and send full waste packages.
